The Department of Accounting, Finance, Mathematics and Economics is seeking a Lecturer in Statistics.
The Department is part of the University of Winchester Business School. We have a strong and growing portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and we are an active research community. We are expanding our portfolio of programmes and research activity and we are now looking to further strengthen our team. At the heart of what we do is a commitment to offering forward thinking and creative programmes of study underpinned by contemporary and relevant research.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of teaching statistics and quantitative research methods to specialists and non-specialists at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will also have experience of supervising quantitative dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Experience of teaching, or willingness to teach, generic academic skills and research skills modules is essential.
Our ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate research success and up-to-date scholarship in their area of expertise. This will be evidenced by a portfolio of outputs commensurate with their stage of career. We are seeking suitably enthusiastic and experienced academics to contribute to the delivery of our teaching and our engagement with research and knowledge exchange.
