The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Winchester is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Psychology to join the expanding team of academic staff in the Psychology Department. This is an exciting time to be joining the Department as we build on our successful student recruitment and growing research presence.
The Psychology Department at the University of Winchester, King Alfred's Campus, currently offers an established portfolio of British Psychological Society accredited undergraduate programmes. In addition, we have an accredited MSc Forensic Psychology programme. We have research strengths connected with Childhood and Youth Psychology; Communities, Identity and Politics; Social Psychology; Healthy Lives; the Psychology of the Workplace and Organisations; Brain and Cognition; and Forensic and Investigative Psychology. This research is underpinned by appropriate research infrastructure including PhD students, laboratories, software and technical support.
The post holder will participate fully in the Psychology Department's range of teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate), research and knowledge exchange activities. We welcome strong applicants in any of the core areas of Psychology.
The successful applicant will need a PhD in Psychology or cognate discipline and experience of teaching psychology at undergraduate level.
