An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the University of Winchester's Campus Housing team in the role of Allocations and Systems Officer. The care and support of students is very important at the University and we are looking for someone with a common sense and friendly approach to join the Housing Services team.
Your daily work will include primary responsibility for room allocations, oversight and development of use of IT based Housing systems, updating and development of the Housing pages on the University website and other marketing responsibilities. You would work alongside the Student Housing Services Manager and Head of Housing and Security to inform application and allocation strategy through key data analysis.
You will need excellent customer service and IT abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a logical, common sense and practical approach. You will be a team player, able to perform at your best in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment and able to act with sensitivity and discretion. Some knowledge of higher education would be advantageous.
