We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team in the University of Winchester’s Centre for Degree Apprenticeships. Working in partnership with employers we are committed to delivering a high-quality service. We are looking to grow our team therefore, if you have coaching experience and specialise in one of the above disciplines this may be the role for you.
The purpose of this role is supporting our degree apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent, our ideal candidate(s) will have experience of skills coaching, ideally within the context of apprenticeships, and have experience of working in Higher Education or similar learning environment. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, project confidence when dealing with a range of people and demonstrate tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive issues. You will be well-organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will hold regular meetings with apprentices and managers to monitor learner progress, evidence KSBs and support problem resolution. Meetings will be held in the workplace and virtually therefore, the ability to drive with own car is essential.
