We have an exciting opportunity for someone to work within our Home recruitment team. The team is responsible for the delivery of an effective programme of student recruitment activities on behalf of the University. This post provides an excellent background for a career in event management and Higher Education marketing.
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering an annual programme of on campus events, to achieve an outstanding visitor experience. Your responsibilities will include the coordination and delivery of our Taster Lectures programme; presenting weekly scheduled University Campus Tours with the assistance of Student Ambassadors; liaising with Faculties and Admissions to coordinate Campus Tours provision across the annual schedule of Interview Days; ensuring information and advice is available for visitors to the campus wishing to take a Self-Guided Campus Tour; and assisting in the arrangements and delivery for all University Undergraduate Open Days and Postgraduate Open Evenings.
Educated to degree level or with relevant experience, you will have excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills. You must be results orientated, with a flair for organising, planning and delivering successful events. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software is essential. This post may suit a graduating Events Management student.
This is a full time position with some unsocial hours and Saturday working so flexibility and the ability to work away from the University base is essential.
