As part of the IT Services Helpdesk team, you will be giving technical assistance to staff and students, dealing with a wide range of issues from problem-solving PC faults to giving advice on all sorts of IT-related matters. The IT Helpdesk is key to the University in providing essential support and assistance to all our users. Your role is an important element in providing this support and giving excellent customer service.
Whilst no formal IT qualifications are required for this role, very good knowledge of Microsoft software, PCs and printers is essential. Apple computing skills would be a great bonus. Candidates also need to have had previous customer facing experience, have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to all aspects of their work.
