The University of Winchester’s Centre for Degree Apprenticeships works in partnership with a wide range of private and public organisations across the South East, South West, London and the Midlands in delivery of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. We are committed to delivering a high-quality service to our apprenticeship learners and their managers and are looking for Skills Coaches who specialise in one or more of the above disciplines and, like us, are committed to ensuring delivery of an outstanding service to all stakeholders.
Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent, you will have knowledge of apprenticeships in health and social care and their delivery and assessment. Ideally, you will also have experience of working as a skills coach or similar role within the context of apprenticeships and have experience of working either in health and social care practice, Higher Education, or a similar learning environment.
As a Skills Coach you will be delivering coaching and holding regular meetings with apprentices and their managers virtually online and if the need should arise, , face to face in the workplace. You will also support apprentice learners and their line managers in applying and evidencing knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs) in the workplace and supporting in the resolution of any challenges that may arise.
