This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the dynamic Student Academic Support team at the University of Winchester, set within the wider Student Services Department. The post-holder will play an integral part in supporting disabled students in their studies. The post-holder will primarily work with students who have disclosed an autistic spectrum condition, providing one to one support to students, as well as providing group workshops, as appropriate. The post-holder will work with students from all levels across all disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with experience of teaching specialist study skills, knowledge of current issues surrounding disability, excellent communication skills and must meet the DSA-NMH Mandatory Qualifications or Professional Body Membership Criteria for Specialist one-to-one Study Skills and Strategy Support – Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) as stipulated in the following link: Mandatory Non-Medical Help requirements.
